Charris Construction

Charris Construction did a great job renovating my parents basement from flood. Communication was clear from the start, and they gave us a detailed schedule. The crew showed up on time and to schedule, kept the work area clean. The final work looks great. Highly recommend!

Andrew and his team did an amazing job for my dad’s bathroom! From the very beginning Andrew was incredibly patient, and thorough with measurements and details of the process. He was always transparent with pricing and what he thought would be best. We will using him and his team for further projects to continue updating my Dad’s apartment. Check out the photos! Stunning transformation.

I had a great experience working with Charris Construction on a drop ceiling project in Brooklyn that was originally installed incorrectly by another contractor. Their team came in, identified all the issues right away, and completely fixed the ceiling the correct way. The finished result came out clean, level, and extremely professional. They were reliable, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire project. The crew showed up on time, kept the work area clean, and paid close attention to detail from start to finish. If you’re looking for a trusted construction company for drop ceilings, ceiling repairs, framing, remodeling, or general construction work in Brooklyn and NYC, I highly recommend Charris Construction. Excellent workmanship and great customer service.

Andrew and his guys did amazing job, great communication, very helpful, very neat work and cleaned up. Made it all look beautiful

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I hired Charris Construction to repair a bathroom leak, install a barn door, and install new bathroom floor tiles. Andrew was great to work with—professional, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The work came out excellent and was done with great attention to detail. I’ll definitely be hiring them again for future projects and highly recommend Charris Construction.

I had the pleasure of working with Andrew and his team at Charris Construction on a project I am managing. I needed a complete gut renovation of a unit in Brownstone Brooklyn. Andrew showed up for a walkthrough, gave a fair price, and mobilized in a couple of days. They coordinated the parking of a 40-yard container with NYC street parking, which is a challenge in itself. Took instructions well and demonstrated experience working safely around live wires and other systems. The process went smoothly and efficiently, and he delivered on time, which is rare in this field—highly recommended. I will be calling him again.

Andrew and his colleague were incredibly professional to work with. I found them courteous, punctual, and they understood the instructions they were given very well. Everything went exactly as planned; Andrew did everything he said he would do when he said he would do it. I would definitely hire them for additional work.

Andrew did a really nice job on my kitchen, and I'm happy to recommend him for top quality work.

Couldn’t be happier with the results. Their team was professional & detail-oriented. They listened to my ideas, provided helpful suggestions, and completed the project within budget. The quality of their craftsmanship is outstanding, and my new bathroom looks amazing. I highly recommend Charris Construction for any remodeling needs!

Thank you so much to Andrew and his team for bringing my vision to life. I found his pricing to be extremely fair while also bringing the best quality to everything they did. It’s awesome to see family owned businesses still 🖤 Will definitely be working with him again

Charris Construction recently completed a remodel of our clients apartment in Astoria, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final touches, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident at every step.

I am absolutely THRILLED with my newly gut renovated bathroom, by Charris Construction. I can’t stop talking about it and showing it off. Andrew and his team really listened and brought my bathroom inspiration board to life- from the layout to the tile color and pattern, we were able to design and execute a beautiful finished product (if I can say so myself!). My project was quite involved due to the fact that I live in a pre-war Co-Op building with restrictive renovation and construction guidelines. Andrew was extremely patient and worked closely with the co-op board and the building management to get our plans approved in accordance with the building’s requirements. Throughout the project, the Charris team worked closely with my building’s super. They were receptive to the super’s feedback and complied with all of the co-op’s requirements re: working hours, daily cleanup, and waste removal. We went from the original 1939 bathroom with a cast-iron tub, flushomatic toilet, white subway tiles, and a separate standing body shower to a COMPLETELY transformed new room. Now I have a huge walk-in rainfall shower (with my built-in plant shelves), ample recessed lighting, a water efficient toilet, and a gorgeous laundry nook with all of the flood-proofing and soundproofing required for board approval. A lot of time was spent on the fine details, like the perfectly laid blue herringbone tiles around the whole room, and my favorite gold trim detailing that brings the whole design together. The plumbing and electrical were completely re-done and the electric was panel upgraded for safety—now, 2 months in, the washer/dryer setup is working perfectly with zero issues. BTW, this in-unit laundry situation has been life-changing - after 23 years of NYC apartment dwelling and shared machines, this upgrade made the whole project worthwhile. I will be happy to endorse and work with this small family business again in the future.

Andrew Charris and his crew were so very responsive and efficient. They were also fairly priced and I just can’t say enough good things about them! See the before and after photos to see why I’m so happy with my new bathroom.

My brother in law recommended me Charris construction. I have to say i was very happy and satisfied with all the work that was done. They worked very professionally and cleaned. I will definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you so much for making it a pleasant experience.

Excellent service and beautiful results!

The team of Charris Construction did a renovation for us recently, they renovated our kitchen and replaced the floor in our living room, dining area and all thru the hallways. The entire team is extremely professional and knowledgeable. It's a family business so there are no worries about communication. As a matter of fact while laying the floors we came up against a problem when we didn't have enough and could not get it locally, so Andrew Charris drove to PA to pick it up himself to save us the cost of shipping. I highly recommend them.

Charris construction is a top of the line construction company. starting from the sleek business cards to the last brick, they’re top notch. I highly recommend for all house renovations and community rebuilding work.
